When I first saw the name, I thought that Bulmers were doing bar snacks, but upon further inspection I realised that would just be silly.
Apparently Bulmers Crisp Blend uses a different type of cider apples, which have a sharper taste.

To get £1 off a bottle during August, simply print of your voucher and present it to a member of staff when purchasing a bottle of Bulmers Crisp Blend.

Today’s Groupon in Cardiff is for two people to eat at the All You Can Eat buffet at Little Tiger, formerly known as Ivory Tiger, which is on Churchill Way.

We went there when it was Ivory Tiger, back last summer, and the food was alright. I have not been to Cosmo, but friends who were with me that have said that it was similar to that, but the food wasn’t quite as good, and the selection was narrower.

Despite that, I think that £4.80 each is a total bargain and is definitely worth a shot.

Groupon Cardiff: Authentic Asian All You Can Eat Buffet For Two for £9.59 at Little Tiger (£23.98 Value)

Gio’s is one of the last remaining independently owned restaurants in Cardiff city centre.
The food is spectacular, the service second to none and the history just adds to it. Well known for being one of the best, you cannot go wrong with this Groupon, if you haven’t been there before or if you have and want to go back.

If you live in Cardiff and have never been to Gio’s, use this as your excuse – everyone has to see how great locally run businesses can be, over the chains.

One Course Italian A La Carte Lunch For Two (£14) or Two Course Italian Lunch from Set Menu For Two (£12) With Prosecco or Bellini at Gios Italian Deli Restaurant

Cegin Y Ddraig
Go to the Cardiff Deals group deals site to buy this offer.

Following on from our offer on Monday for lunch at Cegin Y Ddraig we’ve come up with something else that might whet your tastebuds… how about your morning coffee and croissant for just £5, for a whole week?

You can pop in every day for one week (Monday – Friday) and grab a regular coffee and a croissant, with this voucher. Pop by on your way to work, after your morning run or whenever you’re in the city centre and grab your morning wake-up for a fantastic price.

The coffee is freshly brewed every morning using the finest beans, ground and percolated regularly – not left on a hot plate for hours or overnight – nor is it instant coffee, it’s damn good. Pastries are delivered every morning, fresh – I certainly couldn’t go without mine.

Starts tomorrow at 9am. Go to this link for more details and to sign-up to the group deals email list.

Cardiff Deals has been publishing deals for months now; all good, but all second hand. Now we have an exclusive one for you.

Dragon’s Kitchen – Cegin Y Ddraig is one of our absolute favourite spots in Cardiff. With a view of the castle, situated  in one of the oldest arcades in the United Kingdom (the second oldest in Cardiff), it is a perfect place for a leisurely afternoon lunch, a takeaway coffee and breakfast snack on the way to the office, or to while away a Saturday afternoon while the whole city quickly moves past. The place is decorated in warm colours, and the light that floods in through the floor to ceiling windows unfettered brings with it a feeling of homeliness.

We’ve worked with JP, the owner and one of the friendly faces of Dragon’s Kitchen – Cegin Y Ddraig, to come up with some excellent offers for you to buy and redeem – as we’re sure it will only take you one visit to fall in love with the place.

So over the next 5 days there will be 3 offers, starting with tomorrow’s – “Lunch meal for two plus drinks”. Two people can dine any time in the next four weeks from the home cooked menu (with specials that change daily, including a steak dinner), any day of the week for just £12.50 – a 50% discount, and you get a drink each too – soft or alcoholic (the café carries beers and wines, including draught as of recently).

Homemade Welsh Beef Faggots & Peas, Minted Lamb Steaks,  Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Jackets, Traditional Welsh Cawl – these are just some of the menu items, all of which are freshly prepared at the café daily. There is also a large range of toasted sandwiches and filled breads (our favourite is the “Dragon’s Breath” spicy chicken baguette), served with green salad and vegetable chips.

“It’s Brains you want” is their motto, and it certainly is. Cardiff’s home brew is very tasty, and during February the tastiness gets even better as Brains are offering a free bar snack with every pint – simply download the voucher.

I recommend sending the PDF version of the voucher to your phone and showing it to them each time you want your free snack – I’m sure this will be allowable?

Sometimes I think that we neglect the outer areas of Cardiff, particularly the North which has some great restaurants, my favourite being Villagio’s in Whitchurch Village.

Groupon have an offer on today to pay just £16 for £40 worth of food at “Mediterraneo in the Village”, we haven’t been there but it got an awesome write-up in the South Wales Echo, so we may just try it.

We’re fans of the Cayo Arms here at “CardiffDeals Towers”, so when we received an email letting us know that our friends and family could get a free drink there, we thought we’d better tell you about it.

This is a simple one, you just have to sign up to their mailing list and you’ll be presented with a voucher for a free drink – that’s not too hard, is it?

We’ve all enjoyed eating at Chiquito. Wait, what? You haven’t? Or you know someone that hasn’t? It’s actually alright there, for a chain, and this voucher for a free starter or dessert makes it even better.

So go and get some Mexican food, and have a couple of shots of tequila too.

Here is the voucher for a free starter or dessert at Chiquito.

Chiquito is at the Brewery Quarter, St Mary/Caroline St in Cardiff city centre or on Hemingway Road (on the site of the Red Dragon Centre) in Cardiff Bay.

This offer is valid until Friday 5th December 2010.

The Italian Way, one of Cardiff’s best Italian restaurants – competing with the likes of Giovanni’s on The Hayes, and Villagio’s in Whitchurch village, The Italian Way is famous for their amazing calzone and of course, their phenomenal pizzas.

They are currently doing a promotion, bring a friend and get a free pizza, so, 2-for-1 on pizzas – you have to get on this one!

You’ll need to take along this voucher.

Visit The Italian Way website for details on how to get to the restaurant.
