Cegin Y Ddraig
Go to the Cardiff Deals group deals site to buy this offer.

Following on from our offer on Monday for lunch at Cegin Y Ddraig we’ve come up with something else that might whet your tastebuds… how about your morning coffee and croissant for just £5, for a whole week?

You can pop in every day for one week (Monday – Friday) and grab a regular coffee and a croissant, with this voucher. Pop by on your way to work, after your morning run or whenever you’re in the city centre and grab your morning wake-up for a fantastic price.

The coffee is freshly brewed every morning using the finest beans, ground and percolated regularly – not left on a hot plate for hours or overnight – nor is it instant coffee, it’s damn good. Pastries are delivered every morning, fresh – I certainly couldn’t go without mine.

Starts tomorrow at 9am. Go to this link for more details and to sign-up to the group deals email list.

Cardiff Deals has been publishing deals for months now; all good, but all second hand. Now we have an exclusive one for you.

Dragon’s Kitchen – Cegin Y Ddraig is one of our absolute favourite spots in Cardiff. With a view of the castle, situated  in one of the oldest arcades in the United Kingdom (the second oldest in Cardiff), it is a perfect place for a leisurely afternoon lunch, a takeaway coffee and breakfast snack on the way to the office, or to while away a Saturday afternoon while the whole city quickly moves past. The place is decorated in warm colours, and the light that floods in through the floor to ceiling windows unfettered brings with it a feeling of homeliness.

We’ve worked with JP, the owner and one of the friendly faces of Dragon’s Kitchen – Cegin Y Ddraig, to come up with some excellent offers for you to buy and redeem – as we’re sure it will only take you one visit to fall in love with the place.

So over the next 5 days there will be 3 offers, starting with tomorrow’s – “Lunch meal for two plus drinks”. Two people can dine any time in the next four weeks from the home cooked menu (with specials that change daily, including a steak dinner), any day of the week for just £12.50 – a 50% discount, and you get a drink each too – soft or alcoholic (the café carries beers and wines, including draught as of recently).

Homemade Welsh Beef Faggots & Peas, Minted Lamb Steaks,  Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Jackets, Traditional Welsh Cawl – these are just some of the menu items, all of which are freshly prepared at the café daily. There is also a large range of toasted sandwiches and filled breads (our favourite is the “Dragon’s Breath” spicy chicken baguette), served with green salad and vegetable chips.
